Why Whitewater?
I have chosen Whitewater as the place to return to teaching Math because it is a student centered school district where the students are given many avenues for success. Students in Whitewater want to be successful and I love helping students to succeed in a subject where many of them don't always feel confident. Teaching at Whitewater High School allows me to combine working for an excellent school district while continuing to raise my children.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I began teaching at Whitewater High School in the fall of 2007. For the first 3 years I taught part-time and am now in the classroom full-time. I spent the 4 years prior as an at home Mom. Before 2003 I spent seven years teaching Math at Delavan-Darien High School. My teaching certification was completed at Carroll College in Waukesha, WI. My Bachelors was earned at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I am a native of Pennsylvania and was raised in a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. I moved to Wisconsin in 1992 after graduating from college.

I currently reside in Fort Atkinson with my husband, and 2 daughters. My Husband works in the IT department for the East Troy School District. My daughters are ages 16 and 19.

Please contact me if any concerns arise. I am in my classroom according to the above schedule but e-mail might be the best way to catch me.
