Computer Access

Whitewater High School is one year away from being fully 1:1 using Chromebooks. Currently, all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have a Chromebook for full time use. In addition, WHS boasts 6 full computer labs with 24 Windows 7 machines in each. Four of the labs are assigned to specific departments such as Business Education and Computer Science, while the other two labs are available for teachers to sign-in their individual classes. In addition to the full labs, many teachers have mini-labs in their classrooms and the LMC has a dozen machines. The After School Tutoring Center operates in the LMC so that students have full access to computers from 3:00 until 4:30 each day.
