Nine students traveled to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend the FBLA National Fall Leadership Conference. While there, students were able to see the Arch, go to the top of the Arch, the City Museum, and go through the St. Louis Zoo. During the opening ceremony for the conference we heard from speaker Rhett Laubach who talked about making meaningful connections with professionals and staying in contact with them. Paige Hughes was able to meet Rhett and get a picture with him. Students attended several workshops gaining insight on how to save money, how to work in today's society, how to juggle being a leader, and so much more! During the closing ceremony students heard from Scott Backovich on how our society needs leaders to do something instead of sitting around waiting for something to happen. This conference was a great way for students to build connections, learn how to grow as a leader, and increase knowledge on possible career/colleges to attend.
