Starting with WHS Juniors, in January, students in grades 9 -11 will view a presentation about the new course selection guide, receive registration materials, and attend an individual career and academic planning conference with their counselor.  Parents are welcome to attend the conference with their student.  
 
Parental involvement is encouraged as students carefully select courses and update their high school individual learning plans. Students should complete their Academic Plan and bring it to their conference. Students will also update their four-year academic plan in their portfolio which is based on WHS graduation requirements, career and academic readiness goals, test scores, and college admission standards.  Registration forms should be signed by a parent/guardian.
