NHS Blood Drive

Donating blood is one of the simplest things a person can do to help save a patient’s life. In about an hour, a blood donor can help accident and burn victims, heart surgery patients and transplant recipients, and those receiving treatment for cancer or sickle cell disease.

Donors must be 16 years or older to donate blood. All donors need a signed parent's permission slip turned in to NHS prior to scheduling an appointment. Sign up with a friend and save lives together.  Pick up a permission slip from a National Honor Society member or Mrs. Sonmor-Wintz during first or second lunch.  Appointment times will be assigned when permission slips are returned.

Join in on the perks of meeting patient needs. All presenting donors will get:

  • A Red Cross Snoopy T-shirt
  • Give a pint get a coupon for a Free Pint of Culvers Custard
  • A Red Cross Medal to show you helped save lives
  • 2 hours of service
