WHS was excited to host the inaugural meeting of the new Technology and Engineering Advisory Board on Wednesday, April 26. Technology and Engineering teachers Mason Pautsch and Justin Buntrock, robotics coaches Laura Masbruch and Jacob Lee, and Principal Brent Mansky welcomed representatives from seven local companies to discuss labor market needs, desired skills for employees, youth apprenticeship options, and expansion of the tech ed program. Participants also toured the tech ed and robotics facilities at the high school. Thank you to Generac Power Systems, Reynolds Heating and Cooling, HSI Rentals, Schenck Process, MacLean-Fogg, SpaceSaver, and Husco International for participating in the meeting. We look forward to a continued partnership.
