Whitewater High

On Friday, May 12 the students in Spanish Language Arts traveled to Madison to tour the University of Wisconsin Madison, and consider future possibilities. Then we moved on to the state Capitol, where we saw where laws are voted on and even visited the office of our state senator and got to check out the observation deck. Our next stop was the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art to view a youth installation. We ended our day at La Taguara, an authentic Venezuelan restaurant. In total, we walked 4.3 miles / 17 flights of stairs but saw lots of great history and art and are all set to write about it next week.
