Hope Squad members had a retreat day on Thursday, November 30, where staff from the Walworth County Health and Human Services trained the students in QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) to help reduce the risk of youth suicide through education, training and peer intervention.
Next week will be Hope Week at WHS. Squad members will have daily activities to emphasize the importance of taking care of your mental health, reduce the stigma, and know that students have ways to get help when needed.
