AP Stats Experiments

Students in Mr. Jason Bleck's AP Statistics class are finishing the year with their final projects. AP Stats students were tasked with developing an observational study or experiment, and today was the big data collection day! The activities included identifying what proportion of students throw away their wrapper when given a piece of gum, the proportion of students that push in their chairs when they stand up, seeing how long it takes to break awkward silence, the proportion of students who can do a cartwheel, if there is an association between chunky or creamy peanut butter and which direction students cut their sandwich in half (vertical or diagonal), a dice rolling game, shooting paper balls into a garbage, and how fast students write their name (dominant vs. non-dominant hand). Now the AP Stats students will display and analyze their data as a final project!
