An important piece from one of the table saws in the wood shop sheared in half. After consulting with each other, the tech ed teachers decided that Aiden Lefel has demonstrated so much skill at TIG welding, that they would give him the opportunity to try and fix it. TIG welding is a tough process to master, and at the high school level, this is their first real experience with it. The teachers thought they might have to clean up and polish the weld after the student welded it back together, but when Aiden handed it back to them, they were shocked at how well he nailed the TIG weld. They found there was, "no need for cleaning it up, it was a perfect weld!" The table saw is back up and running!
