Construction Trades

On October 9th, 40 students from Whitewater High School attended the Build My Future event at the Racine County Fairgrounds in Union Grove. Students explored a variety of construction trades firsthand, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and engineering, and even operated heavy equipment used on real job sites.

This hands-on experience gave students an authentic look at the skills, teamwork, and dedication required in the construction industry.

A big thank you to the Lakeland Builders Association and the Racine Kenosha Builders Association for providing such a dynamic, real-world opportunity for our students!
