On Wednesday, October 27, students in Ms. Lynn Weilbrenner’s foods classes had the opportunity to work with SSG Steven Dunst of the US Army and compete in an MRE food challenge. Students had to take all the components of their MRE, prepare them and create a dish that could be served in a 5-star restaurant. Students then needed to present their dishes to a panel of judges. Thank you to Private Xavier Ortiz and teachers who stepped up for this challenge to choose a winner. Fun was had by all.
