Whitewater Middle School’s Caroline Nelson Earns Outstanding Educator Award
WHITEWATER, WI — Whitewater Middle School teacher Caroline Nelson has earned the Outstanding Educator Award from the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted (WATG).
Nelson will be recognized during an awards ceremony on Friday, November 6, at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. The award recognizes educators for their contributions to gifted and talented education.
“We are proud to see Caroline recognized for her work with students,” said Whitewater Unified School District Superintendent Samuel Karns. “She cares deeply about her students and works hard to help them succeed. We are lucky to have her!”
WATG honors educators who have made a difference in their schools and districts through their work with students, families, curriculum development, and professional learning. The organization advocates for gifted students throughout Wisconsin and works to help schools address their students’ educational and social-emotional needs.
