WHS celebrated Spring week May 23-27. Students dressed as Adam Sandler, Soccer Moms, and BBQ Dads. They looked pretty in Pink, showed off their middle school years, and then wrapped up the week by wearing camouflage. On Thursday, students and staff attended an assembly in the gym where the Class of 2022 was recognized as well as the Spring Court. The court consisted of student-leaders from the track teams, baseball, softball, soccer, golf, tennis, the Math Team, Aqualba, Aerospace Drone Team, Anime Club. WHS Ringers, and the Hope Squad. The crowd in the gym was then entertained by the first annual basketball game- Senior class vs Senior Citizens (aka WHS Staff). The Class of 2022 won the game, but Mr. Averill made the game exciting by swishing a three-pointer as time expired. After enjoying the basketball game, students and staff were treated to a picnic lunch provided by the lunch staff at WHS.
