The first of two ACT Practice Workshops at Whitewater High School is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, at 9:00 am, in the LMC. Feeling prepared for what to expect on the test by engaging in practice can help ease anxiety on test day.
All WHS Juniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, March 7.
It is true that some colleges no longer have a test score requirement for admission, however test scores are often still a key factor when considering students for scholarships and placement in competitive degree programs.
ACT scores can be a part of what you submit when applying to both technical colleges and 4-year universities. Without a previously recorded standardized test score, you may need to take a test at the time of admission.
