Congratulations to our Whippet Early Grads (Seniors who have earned all credits and completed all requirements). They presented their graduation portfolios on Monday, January 23 as the final obligation of their high school career. As of tomorrow, some of our grads will be joining the military, jump starting their college experience, or moving on to the world of work. Although they have completed their time studying at WHS, Early Grads will come back to celebrate commencement with their classmates in June to receive their diplomas.
Presenting their Portfolios gives students an opportunity to showcase their academic achievement, celebrate their accomplishments, and share their postsecondary career and academic plans before graduation. Presentations are reviewed by WHS staff members and members of the community along with family and friends who are invited to attend.
