A message from Coach Carstens to Athletes, Alumni, and Parents:
As many of you know, we are excited about the renovations currently taking place inside and outside the school. However, due to the unpredictable course route and unstable course conditions, this year’s Dirk Seibold Alumni Race has been cancelled. Thank you to all of our parents, athletes, and alumni for understanding! We look forward to running the race again next year!
WHS students have the opportunity to apply for a free AI Bootcamp at Waukesha County Technical College on Oct 31, Nov 7, and Nov 14. (You have to commit to attending all 3 days, and you have to have your own transportation - this is not a school sponsored fieldtrip.) Applications open August 1. Whitewater High School students should plan to get their school photo taken on Thursday, August 6, as part of the second annual Whippet Welcome. This year’s event will be held at the middle school due to ongoing construction at the high school. The event runs from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Athletes, mark your calendars for the Fall Parent and Player Meeting to be held August 6 beginning at 6:30 pm at Whitewater Middle School. Sport specific meetings will follow the general meeting.

Jr. Whippet Baseball Club tryouts are happening soon! The club is open to all 9 to 14-year-olds who live in or attend the Whitewater Unified School District. Join the WUSD Robotics Booster Club, helping support robotics programs in grades 4-12, between 10:00am and 2:30pm and interact with over 40 exhibitors. Calling on Community Volunteers! Whitewater High School is looking for community members willing to participate in the Portfolio Presentation event for the Class of 2026 on Monday, May 18 between 4:00 and 7:30 pm. On April 16 and 17, Sophomores will be taking the Forward Exam. They are to report to school by 7:40. The test will be taken in their homeroom from 7:45 to 8:45.
All other grades will follow the late start schedule on Thursday and Friday, April 16 and 17. Buses run a normal schedule both days. Students who ride the bus will be able to use the MPR for a quiet study time.

Tonight is opening night for Whitewater Middle School's production of Dare to Dream Jr. These students have been working hard since January to put together this show! Filled with all your Disney favorites, it is sure to be a good time for all. Tonight, Thursday April 9th, is pay what you can to donate to the WUSD Drama department. Let's fill the house for these hard working kids. This show features over 30 middle schoolers both on and off stage as well as an elite team of high schoolers who helped coach the students off stage. There will be two more shows Friday night at 7:00 PM and Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
