This Saturday, November 7th, is our annual Whitewater Choir Festival featuring all 5th through 12th grade choir students in the choir program at 3:00 PM in the WHS gymnasium. Students across the district have been hard at work to present this musical showcase to their friends, family, and community. We hope you can join us.

The new menu format will allow you to check nutritional information for your student. You will be able to select the menu for your student's grade level.

Help Us Finish the Year 2026 Strong!
Our attendance rate dipped a bit in October, and we want to keep our overall attendance above 95%. Please help us make up the difference during November and December by coming to school every day you can.
Student Drawing
Students with 95% or higher attendance are automatically entered into a drawing for a prize.
Students with 98% or higher have their names entered twice.
Two students per grade will be drawn.
Prize options: lunch delivered from Jimmy John’s, preferred parking for one month, or Whippet swag.
Homeroom Drawing
Homerooms with 95% or higher total attendance are entered into a drawing to win their choice of breakfast, snacks, or an ice cream treat.
Homerooms with 98% or higher have their entries doubled.

As part of the remodeling project at the high school, all historical yearbooks will now be on digital display in the lobby with a touchscreen for all visitors to enjoy. We are still in search of 10 old yearbooks. If you have a book from 1929, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1956, 1969, 1970, 2000, 2008, or 2016, would you mind loaning it to us for a couple of months? We would send it out to be professionally scanned and then return it to you unharmed. If you have one of these books, please reach out to Mike Dowden at dowmi01@wwusd.org or 262-472-8105.

Are you a Whitewater High School graduate? If so, you're already part of something special, the Whitewater High School Alumni Association!
Since the 1960s, the alumni association has been on a mission to support our graduating seniors through scholarships and mentorship. The results have been remarkable. Over the last three years alone, they have awarded over $65,000 in scholarships to help our graduates pursue their dreams at four year universities, technical schools, and vocational programs. That's real impact on real lives.
Here's the thing though! They can't do this alone. While their scholarship fund has grown thanks to generous alumni and community supporters, their board and membership has shrunk to just four active members. They need YOU. Whether you graduated in the 1960s or the 2000s, they are looking for alumni who are passionate about giving back and want to help shape the future of our students.
The best part? Becoming a board member doesn't require a huge time commitment, but the difference you'll make is enormous. Your involvement could directly impact the next generation of Whippets pursuing their goals.

Friday is the 3rd Friday of September, a date when our attendance is recorded for the state, impacting state funding.
Tuesday night is Youth Night at the Whippet Soccer game!
Calling all UWW education majors, retired teachers, and community members interested in giving back! WHS and WMS are looking for volunteer AVID tutors 2-4 hours per week.
Join in the fun this Friday for the annual Whippet Booster Club Cookout prior to the football game. The cookout begins at 5:00 pm in the concession stand area by the football field.
The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) is the qualifying test for students to be awarded a National Merit Scholarship.
Taking the PSAT/NMSQT test gives students a chance to take a standardized test similar to a college admissions test, to see how one’s academic skills compare to those of other college-bound students, and to have the opportunity to win scholarships and earn academic recognition. Registered test takers will receive access to an online preparation booklet that contains a complete practice exam and advisement information.
WHS juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT on Thursday morning, October 15. Only 24 seats are available, and pre-registration is required. Registrations not paid by October 2 may be cancelled.
